I,m considering purchasing an airless paint sprayer to paint some interior doors with laytex and then other projects like cabnet doors with laquer or polyurethane. Do these type of sprayers do a very good job? I do have an air compressor so I could go with a HVLP paint gun. Any recomendations?

I have had some good results with latex in the Wagner airless
But not with laquer or poly

Go with an HVLP gun. You will be much better off.

I second. Go with the HVLP. I paint for a living, and I have never found a decent airless sprayer for under $500.

Thanks for the feed back! Also, from what I've read the HPLV sounds like the way to go. Do you think I can get a system for $150 with the pump. I'm a little cautious about the kind of HVLP sprayers that run off of an air compressor. Any recomendations for where to get one and a recomended brand?
