I am finishing off my basement and I want to install a bar sink. How far from the existing plumbing can I go? What is the inch of drop per foot of run ratio?

Not sure if there is a rule on how far it can be away from existing plumbing. There IS however the requirement for a vent from the the drain. You may want to check your local codes and see if you can use an Air Admittance valve rather than a vent line. Slope is 1/4" per foot. Good luck.
