About 3 months ago, started to have problems adjusting the water
temperature in my shower. It used to be that when the shower valve was at the 1:00 position, the water was the correct temperature.

Now I have to have the valve at about the 10:00 position to be at the same temperature. Once you have the temperature right, if you turn the valve back just a little, the water getes cold fairly fast.

The house is 3 years old. Never had any other plumbing problems here.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

You may have an "anti-scald" faucet that is changing the setting inside the faucet handle. Most have a setting and after a while it may be turning with the handle as you are using it. May have to open up the handle and check to see where it is set. It just happens sometimes. Good luck.

OK, I'll take off the handle and look inside this weekend...
