Aprilaire 550 Humid.has Not Worked In Long Time. Trying To Repair. Not Sure If It Is Even Wired Properly. Constant 24v To Humidistat. Already Bought New Humidistat, As It Was Bad. Had Solenoid Checked And Is Ok. I Was Thinking That The Power To The Stat Was Supposed To Coincide With The Operation Of The Blower. When 24v Is Applied To Solenoid, Occasionally It Opens For Split Second And Then Closes,like It Loses Power.?? Current Sensing Relay Is Wired In, But IT IS LAYING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FURNACE. ISNT IT SUPPOSED TO BE HOOKED TO SOMETHING?? PLEASE HELP..JOHN

The relay has to be "wrapped" around your heating speed wire for the blower motor.

I take it you mean a A50 Current sensing relay.Itworks just like an amprobe does. You just run the blower wire through its loop and it wil do the rest . Any time the blower comes on the humidifier should come on.
