Hello All-
I am wondering what is the proper method for fastening a pedestal sink to the ground. It is going on a ceramic floor, which is on wonderboard and plywood.
Lag screws were listed in the Home Depot book, but I wonder if they'd pull out.?
Some other fastener?
Thanks!!!

Lag bolts should work as long as they are proper length to get a good grip into the plywood. I would suggest that you use a rubber washer between the base and other washer or bolt head to reduce any vibration that may be present and eventually cause the base to crack. Good luck.

Thanks, Dragon!- Will do.
Are there any hints I should know about drilling through my ceramic tile?

If you have glazed tile, I would take a center punch and carefully chip off the glaze so your drill has a chance to bite into the tile. A masonary bit is the only type that will cut through the tile. Go slow. Good luck.
