Hi I have a DSC 832 and I live with two roomates who stay up way later than I do typically and always forget to turn oth esystem on. I wanted to enable the auto arm feature to turn the alarm on incase they dont at midnight. Any way I know how to turn the auto arm on by pressing *6 master code option 3 and then the time. My question is does anybody know how to make it auto arm and auto bypass the stay/away zones as if you armed it manually with either your user code or the stay function key. I dont want all the motion detectors active all night incase my cat sets them off so it would be great to get it to autoarm and auto bypass like it should is there an option in the installer mode anywhere to change this any way any help would be much appreciated thanks a lot.

All I can suggest is to experiment. If your motions normally auto-bypass if you arm without opening and closing an entry/exit door, then they may well do so if the panel auto arms. Give it a try. If not, the only thing I can think of would be to try and remember to bypass those zones before you crash.
