Hi,
I have deduced that the IR receiver on my 10 yeal old 25" Magnovox TV is not functioning (i.e., not picking up the remote control signal). Is there a easy fix that I can do by myself w/o taking the TV into the repair shop?
Not sure if this is related, but my house was hit by lightning several months ago, and we had to repair the TV. It worked fine once we got it back from the shop (worked with remote that came with the TC, worked with a universal remote), but last week no remotes worked. I know the code for my TV and the TV works fine otherwise.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
