I had to do lots of drywall repair in my bath after removing wallpaper, decorative tile, etc. I want to seal the walls to prevent moisture. Is an oil or latex primer, or other method the best? Thanks

If you are sure that all the adhesive residue is gone, then prime it with Zinsser's GARDZ, or Scotch Paint's DrawTite.
If unsure about the adhesive, use an oil or alkyd primer.
