Toilet Macerator Pump

I'm finishing my basement and will be building a bathroom. The nearest drain is only a 2" pipe, so I'm considering a Saniflor macerator pump. Has anyone had any experience with these? I'm considering the Sanipack, which can be hidden in the wall and used with a European-style wall-hung toilet.

Hi joelBo,
- this appears to be very simlar to a commercial aircraft style toilet pump.
They're great till someone drops string, gum, or Tampax/Kotex like products in the toilet. ( -Oh yes! airline passengers do it ALL the time :wall: )
