I need to know how to hook up a DVD player and a video game unit simultaneously to my childs TV which only has 1 set of RCA inputs. It is a very basic TV and has no other inputs except a cable/antenna input.

Thanks for your suggestions.

something similiar to this: http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F003%5F010%5F011%5F000&product%5Fid=15%2D1982

You can get them at different places, I've even seen them in Wal-Mart being sold as a Video game switch. Just make sure that what you buy has RCA's in and out. Also, you can get them to switch up to 4 different signals. Look around, I don't think you'll have a hard tim finding one.

BTW, you may need to purchase one extra cable if you don't have one laying around. The ones you have now coming from the devices will connect to the A/V switch....so you'll need one more to go from the switch to the TV.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a bunch. It looks like the Radio Shack unit should do the trick. I'm sure we have an extra cable around here somewhere to finish up the job.
