New to the site, need help replacing pull start on tecumseh engine, it has 5 rivets. Any help would be greatful.

Generally on recoil-start engines, you wouldn't remove the portion of the housing that is riveted on. Look for how the part the recoil mechanism is riveted to is held on, probably 4 or 5 bolts/screws and the entire housing with the recoil section attached will come off. Sometimes you have to remove the fuel tank that may be mounted to the housing.
