I have a 1972 scorpion super stinger 440. i bought it not running but i replaced one of the coils and put in a carb kit. Drained the gas and by then winter was over this year when i took it out of the shed it runs great but the carb gets vapor lock and boggs out all the time until it quits. then i let it sit and it starts up again. could it be i put the carb filters in wrong? i am pretty sure i did it right. what could i do. i also have a scorpion stinger 3 400. could i take the carb off of there and put it on the 440. the carb on the 440 is a tillotson. the carb on the 400 is a walbro. what should i do?
