I bought high gloss Behr paint for exterior. I would like to use the leftover to paint a guest room. Since it is high gloss can I buy some flat paint to mix with high gloss paint in order to have a lesser shine finish? Thx.

No, combining two different sheens, (gloss + flat), doesn't work. It only creates a funky look comparable to  hhhhmmmmm, not sure, but it looks weird.

First off, the requirements of interior and exterior paints are very different. To get a paint that works in both environments, you are compromising both. That is, you get better results using a paint made for a specific application.

Second, as far as the brand - as Prowallguy replied in another post "Do a search for "behr" and "problems" in the forums, and watch the list grow and grow."

Buy your paint at a paint store, not a big box discount store. And buy good tools, too. Going cheap with either tools or paint makes for a cheap result.
