There appears to be a pin sized hole in the housing of my ISE (Badger 1). It leaks (sprays) water only when the disposal is run. I can put my finger over the hole to stop the leak, but this doesn't seem to be a viable long term solution. Can this hole be patched somehow or do I need to replace my unit? Not sure what caused the hole, but it is located on the located on the disposal housing piece that is cone shaped and connects the narrow sink opening to the large cylindrical motor housing. It is about 2 inches above the seam where the two pieces meet.

Hi Pete,
- as it's only a pinhole and there's no real pressure there, I'd be tempted to try fixing it with epoxy. I've had very good results with a few different brands, particularly 'Devcon'. Make sure to degrease the area and scrub with a wire brush first, so it will adhere better. .
