I have a dripping faucet and want to replace the washer, but the problem is that I can't remove the handle to get to the nut that's holding the faucet assembly together.
I have removed cap on the top of the handle to reveal a plastic disc with a screw in it http://www.appe69.dsl.pipex.com/1.jpg (sorry about the poor quality pictures, they were taken from a mobile phone camera) which I removed.
The problem is I don't know how to get the handle off and without taking the handle off I can't get to the nut that's holding the faucet assembly together see http://www.appe69.dsl.pipex.com/2.jpg.
I think I might have to remove the top part of the handle that has a hole which has a serrated edge (notched like the teeth of a saw blade) but I don't know which tool or screw driver bit which would fit.
Any help will be greatly appriciated.

Thanks in advance.

Here are some other pictures that maybe more helpfull

moshah, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
Looks like you are ready to remove the handle. These can be corroded and a pain to get off. They make a handle puller which is nice for plastic handles. You may also try prying it up CAREFULLY and evenly. If you have any thin wood or plasice wedges you could try using them to evenly raise the handle off the spline (the serrated edge with teeth). Good luck.
