I’m looking ideas for making an adjustable seat for an off road go-cart so that both my children and I can comfortably reach the pedals.

depending on how young your children are//if they are young children then it would be alot of space between the engine and the seat if it is all the way forward for the kids. just a suggestion/advice/tip/pointer :blah:

I made a fixed seat into an adjustable seat by building a sliding seat frame out of 1" square tubing, which slides inside of 1.5" square tubing. I drilled adjusting holes through both pieces of tubing, and then used pins to fix the seat at any desired position.

Good luck with your project,

Rick

You could scavenge the ajustable seat slides off a garden tractor, all the ones that i own have sliders, im sure they would work
