Have a 7year old JVC 36" TV that has developed what can best be described as color flares on the left hand ide of the screen.

Wondering is this is a simple fix of realligning the guns or if it's the pre-cursor to the tube frying?

If the tube's about to fry I might as well buy a new one rather than invest in the repair ...
