Transmission fluid exchange question.

How does this process work to get all the old fluid out? Are there any cars that will drain all the fluid directly without having to use this process?

They use a machine that pumps the old fluid out as it pumps new fluid in.

On some older cars you could drain the torque converter and the transmission pan. This would get almost all the fluid out. ;)
