Having recently installed a workbench in the garage, I would now like to a/c this new workroom. I am looking for info on insulating the garage door which is a 1995 Stanley regular roll down, supported on the inside by 2x4's, a Florida hurricane regulation. I have read one of your threads which mention a pre-fab kit (styrofoam?). Do you know where I can get this kit? Or how about the styrofam panels from Home Depot?

Is it fairly simple to work with the existing duct system in the ceiling to bring the a/c into the garage through the usual vent system? and can I do this myself? as I consider to be a fairly good handy man.

Tks yr time. EC Warner

Yes go for the polystyrene panels at home depot . Just cut them to fit is all. They have the glue for them. Also theinsulated pip you will need for the new run . If not Lowes has it all also.
