I have a 36" Sony flat screen Trinitron that occasionally displays a blank black rectangle right in the middle of my screen. This condition most often occurs while watching sports programming, such as ESPN. The fix is to change the channel and then change it back but this must be done multiple times in some cases. Has anyone ever seen this or would anyone know why this might happen? I have cable TV service but have not seen this with any of the other televisions in the house.
