I had a Honeywell 360A Humidifier installed on 12/13/03 and on 12/23/04 it started making a "clicking" noise whenever the furnace would turn on. In the begining the clicking noise would go away after a minute or so but now the clicking noise stays on all the time and the humidifier is not turn on (i.e. no water coming out of the drain tube and no sound of the fan caming on).

If I keep messsing with it long enough by unplugging it, turn the dial on the humidistat back and forth, etc. then it may come on and run fine until the furnace tuns off (at which time the humidifier also turns off as it should) but then it does not come on and keeps making the clicking noise when it is time to come back on again.

Sears installed the humidifier and both them and Honeywell tell me taht it is out of warranty.

Of course,

Any ideas?

Have you tried to run a power supply to just it and see if it will run. Are a meter on it and see if the clicking is from power on and off from the furnace/
