I have a 27" LXI 94' (sears brand of RCA) I was watching the TV when it shut off on it's own and I am unable to turn it back on. I tried unpluging it and pluging back in that didn't work. I took the cover off and thru all the dust i didn't see any loose wires. where the power cord comes into the circut board there is a fuse and that appears not to be blown. Any one have any Ideas??
Thanks Tim

the first thing a repair shop would do with this model of TV is resolder all of the grounds on the tuner shield. Its free, and they usually need it. It may/may-not not fix your problems though.
the next things I would suspect in this order are:
- Horizontal Output transistor
- EEprom
- Flyback Transformer
Don't mess around inside until you know the dangers of the inside of your tv.

Thanks Kudurdler for the info. I really wanted to see if it would be worth it to take to the repair shop or put this 10 y/o to rest :). I'm going to take it to the shop. thanks for the help I'll post something when i find out what was wrong
