I am a new home owner. My radiators are making so much noise when the heat comes up. It is driving me crazy. We have steam heat. My wife says to leave it alone since it is working fine but I can't take the noise. Someone said they need to be bleed? But how? the radiators are all closed up. I would have to remove the covers and mess up the paint? help Do I need to call a plumber and pay big time?
