What is the best way to get rid of the paint smell? Just painted the living room and it is too cold to open windows...
Fresh air from some source is the only way. Air In. Air Out. Circulation. Good Luck!
Latex? = Bucket of warm water in the middle of the room plus some vinegar.
A couple drops of vanilla extract in your gallon paint can, mixed well. It really works, all you smell is the vanilla.
I like the smell of Latex. I can think of lots of other things that are much more malodorous in this trade. Sure beats sewer gas or Kilz!

I gotta say, 2000, I would MUCH rather smell latex paint than VINEGAR in my house!
:)
but I do like the vanilla idea.... Just had the bathroom painted (I know, I know, if I weren't so busy working at this website I would have DONE IT MYSELF) and am still living with the latex smell. But it reminds me that it is clean and fresh, which is kinda nice!
