i just bought a new Emerson dvd/vcr player. i have a old GE TV, with only one coax connection. no other in or out connections. i also have a satellite box.(dish network) the dish guide is no help hooking this up, nor is the dvd/vcr manual. color codes i can do, but this, call me a dumb blonde.

three choices:
1. run the coax from sat to "in" on dvd/vcr. Then run coax from the "out" to tv. Set the vcr to same channel you have the tv set to for sat. You can also tpae shows with this setup.
2. buy a converter box and run all connections to it.
3. buy a new tv

thanks Bob... i got a RF Modulator. that was easier
