While remodeling the bathroom I found termite damaged wood behind drywalls. I called inspection and they drilled holes inside and outside, injected chemical and sealed the holes. HomeDepot is selling Termite Killing Stakes. How effective it is if I use the stakes as a prevention? Anyone uses it? Thx.

Most of the info I have seen on the termite stakes say the same thing.
Main ingredient is Trans Flur. They also have a disclaimer stating that they do not recommend the stakes as the sole source of protection. They also state that for active infestations you should hire a professional inspector.
Most Pro's in the business give a warranty with their treatment. When I lived in Florida I has a Pro that came out once a month and treated for insects and rechecked for termites. Average cost was $20.00 a month. I also had their warranty that covered any damage caused by any insect that they treated for. Your call. Good luck.

I'd recomend keeping up the annual renewal, if offered, with your termite job. If you don't and the termites find a way around the barrier or there is some other problem, you don't have to start all over with a complete treatment. Rick
