I have an Amana HTM (Heat Transfer Module) heater/hot water heater and was wondering if anyone can put me in contact with anyone that can repair the control circuit board for the unit. The lightning knocked out a relay on the board and maybe some of the other parts. There is not a contractor in the area that services Amana any more and Amana will not help a homeowner directly. They say to contact a hvac contractor.

hey barn man,
I can answer most questions on this HTM.
What seems to be the problem.
You say it took out the control board.
Which one ?
The outdoor gas valve control is a fenwal control three tries two retries.
The relay in the steel box is just a 90-293Q.

I really need more info.
But I think I can help

I have an indoor unit in the basement and the circuit board that controls the complete unit for the house heat and the hot water heater is the board that was hit. I have another board, but the bad board has a bad relay on it that brings on the blower which was hit . If I had a schematic of the board then I would know which relay to change, of if I could get someone to repair the board so I would have a spare again I would be happy. I am really happy with the Amana HTM unit.

What are the terminals labled on the control board?

Are they C G R & on the relay are they N.O. N.C. COM. ?

There is not a scematic for the circuit board and there is four relays on the board and I don't know which one is for the blower. Do you know where I can get a schematic for the circuit board. Amana will not give me anything.
