I have an oil fired Weil McLean Steam system with a carlin 100CBD burner. The burner kicks out and restarts almost instantly several times during the cycle. Any thoughts

The furnace was servied about 2 months ago, nozzel, filter, cleaning etc. Was working fine but seemed to be short cycling, I was't building up enough steam to heat the second floor raidators (single zone). I took off the pigtail to the presuretrol and cleaned it out, solve the problem. About a week ago I noticed the burner would kick on and off shortly after ignition, the problem appears to be worsening and the hesitation now occures several times during the cycle.

Not sure, were would I look to locate the photo electric cell or sensor? I know the burner has a solid state electronic ignition if that helps.

The so called eye are cad cell would be down in the air tube. behind the nozzle.

The photo cell wasn't set all the way back to the stop. I cleaned it and put it back works like a charm.

Thanks for the guidence.
