This unit came with the new house and it worked at the beginning of the season. Now no humidifier action at all.
I hear a click when I move the dial at about 3 position which, I think, means that electronically it turns on. When I put it in "Test" mode and look at the water hose, a drop or two come out and then no more water is discharged.
I don't have a manual and can't run any troubleshooting tests.
Please help.
Thanks,
Haris

Karovaldas, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
You said you looked at the "hose"? Is there a copper line near by that has a "quick tap" fitting that has a small metal rod for a handle on it? If so, that is probably the reason you are getting no water. These plug up and result in a water blockage. Turn the handle clockwise to shut it off and disconnect the line that runs to the humidifier. Make sure the line is not plugged. Hold a rag over the valve and open it (counterclockwise) and see if water flows. If it does, hook the line back up and you should be in business. I would replace that valve with a tee in the water line when you can. Good luck.

Turn the water off at the saddle valve take the water line off at the solenoid. Turn the water back on see if you get water out of the line. If you do, see if you can clean out the solenoid valve and its working like it should. You can turn it to on and see if you can blow in the OUT line on it.

SOLVED
Thanks for your suggestions.
The problem was the saddle valve. Before taking anything off, I merely turned the handle all the way to the right and then back to the left. That was it. The water started flowing llike the spring.
I will look into installing a more reliable T-junction in the future. That sounds like a project that will take more than 5 minutes, so it will have to wait. I am content at the moment.
Thanks again.
