I have a set of Thomson WHP 540 U wireless headphones for use with T.V.
The unit is set to cut-out when the signal is insufficiently strong. Where I live the signal fluctuates a lot and so the unit cuts out most of the time.
How can I bypass the cut-out circuit? Unless I can do this the unit is useless. Which item on the circuit board controls the cut-out? Can I bypass it? Would be grateful for any technical hints

I suspect it is done on the chip, a.k.a. not possible unless you can reprogram it.
