Carpet was pulled away from cement floor for work to be done for water leak. Cement repair complete. The carpet that has to be reattached is indoor/outdoor with rubber backing. Big area of carpeting, 90% of carpeting attached. What would be the best way to reattach? Some of the rubber backing is missing on pulled carpet due to cement replacment. Is there a product or rubber cement that can be used to reattach the carpet? I am trying to repair an area rather than replace half of a basement of carpeting.

Sounds like a job for HENRY 351 adhesive.
