My Zenith B27A11Z 27" Color TV has no color. There is no problem with the connections on back, tuner, or color controls both internal and on menu. I believe it is a problem with the oscillator circuit or video processor. I do not know. What is the best approach to fixing this? rebuilt board or module? I can't get a new T.V. and would appreciate some expert advice. Where do I prod for loose solder joints? Can I bypass PIP and correct it? Thanks for your help in advance.

This is a tough one to troubleshoot. I'd lean towards the tuner portion first. but look for resistors anywhere that have open circuits.
If you just want to check for bad solder places, with the TV plugged in and on, you poke around with a plastic/wooden stick on the bottom of the boards. If the color comes back while youre poking you found the loose connection. You want to steer clear of the transformers and don't touch anything metal with your hands.

Where is the tuner portion of the board? Should I replace tuner or main board? The Oscillator circuit is not the best place to start? Thanks for the help? What usually causes a complete loss of color?
