I have an older Genie garage door opener (Bluemax) with broken infrared eyes (each 'eye' has 2 wires). I have ordered new ones but they are back ordered at least 2 weeks. Is there a way to bypass this system until they arrive? The unit will operate from the inside button by keeping it depressed until it closes but it will not close at all with the remote. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I recently had hip replacement surgery and getting in and out of the car is very difficult. Thank you in advance, Rick
