I have a Craftsman leaf blower and today I went to start it by pulling the cord and it came half way out and stopped and will not retract itself back in. Can anybody give me an idea on how to fix this, or is it hosed? Feel free to e-mail me direct at KWalker5@aol.com. Thanks!

Most likely you can disasemble the rewind assy and rewind the cord. Of course it depends on what model you have and just what shape the rewind assy is in, as to the extent of the repair. Your model # is needed for proper identification.

Hello kwalker5!
I agree with Azis. If you would like to see an exploded view of the blower and the starting mechanism, go to www3.sears.com/ and look up the diagram for your blower. You'll need the model#.
