I am having trouble starting a Poulan 2620 whipper snipper.

I have a new plug and fresh fuel. It had been starting and going fine until I tweaked around with the Hi and Lo carby screw adjustments to peak it up.

Now i can't seem to get the adjustments right and dont have a manual as it is quite an old model.

Can anyone help with the correct starting positions of the screws and setup procedure to get it healthy again?

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Turn the L until seated, back it out 1/4 turn. Turn the H until seated back out one full turn. Start, at full throttle adjust the H until max RPM is reached, then turn out 1/8 to 1/4. Adjust the L so that at idle when full throttle is applied there is no hesitation. If it hesitates turn the screw out 1/8 to 1/4 turn at a time until transition is smooth.
