Does anyone have any trick ideas, tools, processes, and/or materials for getting a hook out of the bottom of a boat.

It's a 24 foot daycruiser, so it's probably to big to flip. The hook extends from the transom about 5 feet forward. I know I'm gonna have to crawl under it to lay up some glass. Any ideas to make this easier would be greatly appreciated.

thanx

On a little smaller boat put like a 2x6 across inside so it is under the ??gunwales?? side of the boat and jacked down off it. pulled in some also from top of the transom. Then glass in some new long stringers on the bottom that have a knee brace to the transom.

Once, I was able to back my boat into the water and place blocks on the trailer frame to hold the boat up off of the trailer. I used plastic zip ties to hold them in place. I happen to live close to the ramp as well.
