I have a bad condensation problem within my home and now I noticed that some of my roofing plywood has lifted and there is some blackish mold in some spots in the attic as well as most of my windows needing replacing due to damage. I heard that I need to install an air exchange unit to move the air. I saw a couple of products on-line from Lectros.com. I was looking at the Nu-Air system wich is just an exchanger and there is also a condensation unit that mounts in the attic. I also was looking at trickle vents for the windows. Any suggestions would be welcome on which type of system or combination of systems I should use. If I use an exchanger unit what type of project would it be to get ductwork into existing construction? Thanks.

This is a Non-Profit Building Science Organization in your State. On this site you can pose you question.

An Air to Air Exhanger will not solve your problem. Mold and Mildew is probably the lesser of the problems you are facing. The roofing plywood is a sub-strate, which means that it is structural. In other words, the plywood is the means that live and dead loads are distributed. Its delamination or deterioration can result in structural failure.

If you do contact VEIC, ask for Ken Tohinaka and tell him Frank Lazaro from New Jersey recommend you to this site.
