I have an Amana Top Freezer Refrigerator, Model No. TZTZ121R that has excessive frost on and in the frozen foods. The temperature is 0 degrees, but this doesn't help. Can it be the defrost time is too long? Any help would be appreciated.

Could be the defrost timer, or even the heater. But let's start simple, raise the control temp. and see what happens over the next day. post back and let us know, I'll watch for you.

Turning the thermostat to a warmer setting seemed to take care of the situation. It still maintains zero degrees, but no apparent frost.
Thanx, and a Merry Christmas to yoiu.
