I have a Aprilaire 600 humidifier that has been working fine for about a month. I noticed it not working. The humidistat that comes with this model has an electronic board that there is a red light labelled "D10" that glows when the humidifier should be working. I am getting correct 24V power to the humidistat, but no power out to solenoid valve. Does anyone know what the problem may be? What does the D10 light mean....it probably is the culprit. Thanks

I just noticed the same exact problem with our 600 model. reading the problem somebody else had in a different topic, I am pretty sure it is the humidistat controller unit that is bad. Until I order a new one I solved the problem temporarily by bypassing the humidistat and directly going from the furnace to the selenoid valve. I adjusted the saddle valve to a low water flow. Probably not the best solution, but seems to work.
Let me know if you find a solution, I will inform you when I solved mine.
