Hi,
My Sears Kenmore (Whilpool) washing machine filled with water and then started agitating. There was a nasty noise coming from down low, like gears grinding up metal. I shut the machine off and then turned it back on, same ugly sound. I again turned it off and on and same sound. Then the machine stopped agitating, locked up, and and humming sound began from down below.
Any suggestions on what the problem might be?
