Hi,
I own an Amana Refridge Model # TH18TW appox 10yrs olds.I pulled the grill off the bottom to check the coils to see if the need to be cleaned. We have dogs,so they are full of dog hair,etc.............
I got my Shop Vac,but I can only get the front?Whats the trick to get all the coil area cleaned,as I know it operates better clean. Thanks

not sure about other people, but I sucked up what I could with sweeper/shop vac. Then I made sure everything in the kitchen was put away and got my air compressor out. Blowing them off got them clean, but made a lot off mess. But that's why the kids know how to clean.
Otherwise, I was told once(not sure if it works), smash a wrapping paper tube flat and fit it over your crack/crevice tool. I can't imagine it works perfect, but it should help some. Probably need to seal off the end you put over your tool.

Hi chschroth,
- yes, it's definitely a good idea to clean the entire coil area. I REALLY like Stripedwarrior's idea of the wrapping tube extension, as this will reach the odd corners, but yet be flexible enough to knock or damage anything.
