Hi friends, my question relates to noise coming out of a heating duct [no gremlins i hope//] when the furnace blower is on there is this noise like something is tossed around inside the heating duct, the noise seems to come from an elbow in the duct placed between two joist located in the basement, the house is old and ducts are kind of heavy gauge,is there a way NO TOO DIFICULT to acces this elbow to remove whatever is in there?
THANKS SO MUCH FOR HELP

Not sure just what kind of pipe or duct you have there If It is say like square duct then it has drives and slips to hold it together. If you look on each side is the drive. You have to unbend the top of it and it should pull down. Do this to each side and the top and bottom of the duct should slide out of the slips that hold it. Some times its faster to cut a hole in the duct and then patch it up.
