Water Filters Or Softners

Hello I Live In The Mountains Of Western Nc But Very Soon I Will Be Moving To The Coast Of North Carolina The Water Here In The Mountains Is Very Good But On The Coast It Is Much Different As Far As Taste And Hardness Goes I Am Wanting To Know If I Should Use A Filter Or A Softner Or Both Can Any One Give Me Any Help With This Thank You For Any Help With This :)

You'll have to have a water test done to see how much of what is in the water before you can do anything else. Have a water treatment dealer come out and see what they tell you, write down what and how much of it they say is in the water and then go shopping. In the mean time, read all you can find about softeners.
