OK, has anybody documented and photographed their basement remodel? I am curious to hear and see success stories of the do it yourselfer. Before and after shots would be great motivation for those of us just starting the project.

Thanks,
C.

I just received an email from someone telling me that my site was pointed out here. I'm glad that it's being used. I also wanted to make aware <anyone interested> that I have left BYU and I don't know how much longer the site will stay online there. It would be a shame to have this data leave the web so it should** appear on http://www.HowDidIDoIt.com some time in the future.

**should = I am not the owner of that site, but by his request I have sent my data to the site owner and he said he plans on using it on the site.

BigD !

Glad to hear you're still around. Let us know when your site gets moved so I can update my link. I stumbled upon your site some time ago. It is the site that got me motiviated to begin planning my DIY basement project. I hope to be able to put up a site like yours once I really get going. Anyway, whatever happened to the neighborhood water problem you started talking about that kind of mysteriously disappeared from your site? Can you not talk about it anymore? Sounds sinister to me.....the truth is out there!

I am in the process of "Do It Yourself" to my entire house. I replaced my entire upstairs with wood flooring, replaced a wall entry way with a oak banister railing, and tore out a bedroom downstairs to open up the living room, replaced the carpet with Legato carpet squares. You can view my progress at

Thanks and Good Luck with your projects.

Here's a link to a site that allows you to see virtually any web site that's ever been out on the net and should be able to access the sight mentioned in this thread even if it's pulled down.

Give it a try it works real well.
