Maytag LAT 9306ABE Washer. has developed an knock in the wash/agitate cycle Everything works fine other wise. I want to take the transmission cover off to see what might have come loose, but want to know if there is grease in there or oil, that will run out over everything.

Has anyone else out there have this Problem?
