Two problems here..How do I hang XMas Icycle lights(they are allready hung)in such a manner so the wind doesn't blow them up onto the roof..also..my wife wants to put garland around our door frame and I'm not sure how to hang it...It's a new house and I really dont want to drive nails into the frame or use gunky duct tape..any ideas?Outside of the door frame we have that fake stone(Veneer?)

i've seen ads recently for a removable adhesive hook. i think it's called "Command" by Scotch or 3M or someone. not sure if it'd stick to an outdoor frame, but it might.

is the door frame wood? you could drill very small holes & use cup hooks, or just small nails. that won't leave too big a hole. can you nail into the side of the frame, so the holes wouldn't be noticable at all? you'll probably only need a nail at the top on each side, and one at the bottom on each side (only 4 in all).

not sure about the icicle lights not blowing up over the roof - see that all the time! (one reason we haven't bought them! :o )
