I live in a mobile home and the roof is sweating on the inside. The roof has been rubber coated on the outside. The gutters have been rubber coated as well.

The problem on the inside is so bad the ceiling board is wet,the insulation is wet,the backer board is wet.

I have ripped it all out down to the metal. How can I fix this problem?

It sounds like the rubber roof is sealing in all the humidity and moisture from showers and such. You are going to have to find a way of exhausting the moisture. If you have a ridge vent, check to see if it was also sealed up. The moisture HAS to have a way of leaving. Not sure if a Dehumidifier would do much good in this heavy of a situation. Good luck.

Thank you, the trailer is 12x65 .There is only one ridge vent.I did check it and it did get covered over.Is there any way to add vents at the ends of the trailer.I know on the newer trailers they have them.

I would check with a Mobile Home dealer or supplier to see whats available. They can give you all the correct information and any other restrictions. Good luck.
