We have an enclosed patio, the floor is concrete, can we install carpeting over the concrete? someone told us to put down a layer of heavy plastic first, then the pad and carpet. This is supposed to eliminate moisture from the concrete from coming up into the concrete. Anyone have any suggestions for us? Thanks, Ellen

The pad needs to be attached to the concrete by glue.
a plastic barrier will keep that from happening.
Buy a pad that has a moisture barrier.
