If you are on 'city' water you don't need all the tests in that kit; like bacteria, pesticides and nitrate and if you have your own well you don't need chlorine and lead. It's not a bad kit although I think it's a bit high on price and especially after you pay the shipping.
You can get kits at most hardware stores.
