I'm doing away with my chimney and have a new gas hot water heater that I would like to power vent. Where can I purchase a power venting kit?

Power vents are generally obtained from the same company who manufactured the water heater. They will confirm whether ot not your model is allowed to be power vented. Why do you want to do this?

With a major remodeling I have eliminated my masonary chimney. I could only find pwere vented water heaters with a six year warranty. They cost $200. more than the one I bought with a 12 year warranty. I'm going to use B-vent if I can't find a power vent.

I am concerned about the amount of noise from the fan in the power vent inside the house and the noise from the exiting air outside of the house. What can I expect?
